Vietnam Veterans Day Patriot Point

Monday, 29 March, is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. That date in 1973, the Military Assistance Command – Vietnam (MACV) was disbanded and the last U.S. combat troops departed the Republic of Vietnam.

On Monday, Patriots Point will honor Vietnam veterans with free admission to the museum, including for their immediate families. And, it is a day we should especially recognize the war’s veterans among us who fought on land and sea and in the air.

I hope that you can all spend some time at Patriots Point on Monday to make the day special. For all vets, you are invited to wear your uniforms, or articles of your uniforms, to commemorate the day and honor our brothers and sisters.

Patriots Point will be open from 9 AM to 6:30 PM. Our safety protocols remain in place – masking and social distancing
